Growing up in Western Canada, Ruth Akierman had a clear vision for her future. As the eldest of five, she admired her father’s successful medical practice and envisioned herself following in his footsteps. She pursued a Science degree in Molecular Biology, with the goal of becoming a doctor. However, life has a way of changing direction. A chance encounter with the owner of a Foreign Exchange Brokerage sparked a transformative shift in her career. This unexpected meeting set Ruth on a new path in finance—a journey she has passionately followed for over 23 years.
